Our multi-channel Power Amplifier 039 profits from various insights that were gained during the conception of the internationally awarded power amps 909, 911 and 956.

The 039 may be ordered as 5- or 6-channel power amplifier, and marks the state of the art in amplifier design for home entertainment systems. As 6-channel version, the 039 may be mono-bridged via external Burmester Monoadapters into a 3-channel power amp.

Like all Burmester amplifiers, the 039 is fully balanced and completely DC-coupled without distorting capacitors in the signal-path. Its characteristic appearance results mainly from our well established heat sinks in their distinctive Burmester design. In order to guarantee longevity and long-term actuality, the future-proof modular concept has been adopted to the 039, as well. The 039 is capable of delivering high currents continuously and can thus easily control speakers with low impedance values and complex loads. Due to its ability to extract the smallest sonic detail even at very high volume, the 039 is especially dedicated for Home Theatre applications.

The multi-channel Power Amp 039 has identical amplification stages as the Classic Line Power Amp 036, the 3-channel Power Amp 037 or the Classic Line Integrated Amplifiers 032 and 082. Therefore, they are dedicated for combination. The resulting “Total Coherence Amplification” (TCA) allows for example 5-channel systems by combining a 032 integrated amp with a fully mono-bridged (3x2 channels) 6-channel 039, or a 7-channel system by the combination of a 5-channel 039 and any 2-channel power amp, like the Classic Line Power Amp 036.
