All this time, Acoustical Systems was my best kept secret. They are so good that I don’t want many others to know, except our own customers. From their precise alignment tool, to the genius Arche headshell, and the international acclaim 12” Axiom tonearm; it shows how well Daniel knows his analog.

It should come with no surprise how good our new 10” Aquilar tonearm and Archon cartridge sound, but it did surprise me in a number of ways.

• The setup was extremely easy, yet precise.
• The construction and material used on the tonearm was incredibly well thought out. Just to name a few, the titanium/carbon-hybrid arm wand, tungsten carbide counterweight, fully adjustable headshell, etc.
• And with a brief play this afternoon, this combination can easily rival our more expensive tonearms and cartridges.
• And it will only get better and better.
