I know there is no Santa Claus, but ........... there is UPS. This is what shows up today after Xmas. A special delivery from Clearaudio. Possibly world's first Master Innovation in rose gold / wood finish - or what we refer to as the "Accuphase finish". 

And it is just BEAU-TI-FUL !!! The plinth is made out of panzerholz bulletproof wood sandwiched by solid aluminum plates anodized in rose gold. And the Master Innovation incredible rotational speed stability is achieved by the combination of the patented Clearaudio ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB) supplemented by an additional flywheel and a high torque DC motor. An infrared sensor sends signals to an optical speed control mechanism to consistently maintain the perfect speed, while non-contact magnetic decoupling of the drive prevents any vibration or noise from the motor system from reaching the main turntable.
