The VPI Prime, the table that has been a new experience for VPI Industries. VPI pushed the envelop as far as they could by offering quality and advanced engineering and audio performance at a reasonable price.
The Prime also bridges VPI's new generation as the first high-end table designed by Mat Weisfeld, son of Harry and Sheila Weisfeld (Sheila Weisfeld Memorial) the original designers and owners. The 3D arm is inspired by the original JMW design which was created in memory of Jonathan Weisfeld (Jonathan Weisfeld Memorial) Mat's brother. In the JMW's recent revision for the Prime it returns back to being more backwards compatible and easier to use for the everyday audiophiles and music lover!
VPI is still made and assembled in USA, family owned, and shows the performance of American engineering.
This is one of the two Prime we received at the end of February since we ordered in October 2014; while there are five more on back order. We just mounted an Audio Note IQ2 on this new Prime for a customer.
