The brand <THALES> started in creating an unique geometry for analogue audio tracking.  This principle combines in an elegant way the advantages of the tried and tested pivoted tonearm with the absolutely tangential tracking.  Micha Huber got a Swiss patent on his solution for the tangential pivoted tonearm <Thales> in May 2004.  This was the start of a new period in tonearm design.  The production line and engineering was built up very carefully, and Thales is known in the meantime to provide the BEST tonearm possible.  Made in Switzerland.
